Baikari Jame Mosque is an ancient mosque located in Narayanganj district of Bangladesh. It was built by Amal Dada Bai, a wealthy philanthropist of the eighteenth century. The mosque has complex oriental architecture with two large rounded minarets as well as four smaller turrets.It consists of two domes, a marble reredos, eighteen stone plastered mihrabs, three crescent finials and minarets which bear inscriptions in Persian language. The large domes and four minarets are made of burnt bricks.The inner walls of the mosque are decorated with intricate wall paintings depicting scenes from the Quran and Hadith. The central dome is the largest, standing 13.5 meters high. The other 10 domes around the mosque are progressively smaller in size, standing at 11 meters, 6.5 meters and 3.5 meters, respectively.
