Durrat Al Bahrain Mosque is a grand mosque located in the Durrat Al Bahrain community on the island of Bahrain, in the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain. It was built in 2007 and opened in 2011. Construction of the mosque was funded by the King of Bahrain, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. It is a six-story building and the largest mosque in the country, capable of accommodating up to 5,000 worshippers. The total cost of the mosque was estimated at $15 million USD. The mosque includes several features, including four 65 feet-high white and blue minarets, a spacious prayer hall, a sun deck, a fountain at the entrance, and four minarets. Architecture:

The Durrat Al Bahrain Mosque is located in the easternmost part of Durrat Al Bahrain. It is the second largest mosque in Bahrain and was built in the late 2000s. The mosque was designed by Saudi architect Dr. Abdul Raheem Yusuf who also designed the Grand Mosque in Riyadh. The mosque is built in a modernist style and is made up of three large domes, each of which is supported by four columns. The entrance to the mosque is from the east side, which is framed by two large arches. The exterior facade is adorned with marble inlays and Islamic calligraphy. The interior of the mosque is quite spacious and is decorated with intricate Islamic geometric patterns and motifs. Additionally, there is a large Islamic library which is used for religious studies and research. The main prayer hall is adorned with the largest carpet in the world, which is decorated with intricate green and red colors.The mosque also houses a separate room for women, which can be accessed from the main prayer hall. By Bus: Buses (N0. 306 and N0. 330) regularly run from Manama to Durrat Al Bahrain. The journey takes approximately an hour and a half and costs approximately 0.500 BD. By Private Car: To reach Durrat Al Bahrain Mosque by private car, take the Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway from Manama to Durrat Al Bahrain. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
