History:

The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) is one of the oldest scientific organizations in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. It was founded on 11 March 1945 in Baku, Azerbaijan to foster and direct the scientific and technological development of the country in the wake of World War II.
