History:

Salzburg Hellbrunner Allee is an important roadway in Salzburg, Austria. Its history dates back to Roman times, when it served as one of the main trade and communication routes connecting the city with the rest of the region. In the Middle Ages, it was a strategic route connecting Salzburg with Bavaria and Bohemia, while in later centuries it served as the main route to Vienna. In the 19th century, parts of the route were widened and improved, and it became an important transport avenue for horse-drawn carriages.
