The St. James Club is a historic resort located in the Caribbean island of Antigua-and-Barbuda. The resort was established in 1989, when the famous architect Lord Peter Harris designed a plush hillside hilltop resort. The original resort had just 25 luxurious guest rooms. The resort was heavily damaged by Hurricane Hugo in 1989, but was rebuilt with added amenities. In the 1990s, the St. James Club was purchased by British company Island Hotel Group. They completely renovated the resort with 200 guest rooms, 12 restaurants, several swimming pools, and a variety of luxury amenities.
