The government of Rajasthan just announced that tourists who go to the Golden City of Jaisalmer can now fly over the beautiful city. Reports say that the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) has hired A1 Helicopter Service to run the joyrides that have just started up in Sam as a trial.

Tourists can now take a helicopter tour of Jaisalmer and the surrounding area to get a bird’s eye view of the city’s stunning architecture and landscape. They will be able to get a glimpse of some of the city’s famous monuments, such as the Jaisalmer Fort and temples.

Recently, the initiative was flagged by Minister of Minority Affairs Saleh Mohammed, Minister of State for Tourism Murari Lal Meena, RTDC Chairman Dharmendra Rathore, District Collector Tina Dabi, and other guests.

Dabi elaborated on this by saying that the helicopter tour would give the tourism industry a fresh face. Few weeks ago, Rajasthan government launched prepaid travel cards to provide cashless rides service across the state without the hassle of carrying change to buy tickets.

She also said that tourists can now enjoy parasailing, paramotoring, and helicopter joyrides, which is a great new addition to the things they can do.

According to reports, helicopter rides in Rajasthan have been launched experimentally, and there is a grand plan to connect other tourist spots to form an air route tourism circuit in the future.

It has been said that tourist circuits will be made based on different categories, like heritage, wildlife, and religion so that tourists can see more places in less time.

Dharmendra Rathore, Chairman of the RTDC, stated that the minimum ticket price per tourist has been set at INR 7,000 and that each day, 200 tourists will be able to take advantage of this service via a total of 40 trips.

These new revelations about the joyrides were made public by Rathore. In addition, he disclosed that there will be two time slots for the joyride: one lasting five minutes and the other lasting fifteen minutes.
