The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Pokrov is a Russian Orthodox church located near the banks of the Nerl River in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. Founded in the year 1531, the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin is one of the most recognizable landmarks of the Vladimir region. It was commissioned by Vasily III, the Grand Prince of Muscovy, to commemorate the victory over the Tatars in the Battle of the Kulikovo Field.
