Pyramid of Khafre's son Niuserre at Giza is one of the three largest and best-preserved pyramids at the Giza Necropolis. Built in the middle of the 25th century BCE, it is the second largest and second tallest pyramid in the Giza complex. The pyramid is estimated to originally have been 201 feet (61.2 m) high and around 311 feet (95 m) across. The pyramid served as the tomb of Pharaoh Niuserre of the Fifth Dynasty and is thought to have been built by his son, Djedefre. Its sides are slightly indented, the most noticeable being on the north side and the substructure is composed of relatively small and shallow chambers.
