The Frissiras Museum of Contemporary European Paintings is located in central Athens, Greece and was founded in 1998 by art collector and patron Panos and Marina Frissiras. The Museum was the first of its kind in Athens and it contains the largest collection of contemporary European art in Greece. It has works from more than 60 prominent contemporary artists from around Europe, including Greece, France, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Spain, UK, and Russia. The Museum also contains a rich art library with an extensive selection of books and catalogues on contemporary art.
