The ceremony is typically held annually on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, just before the start of the rice planting season. The best way to reach Mieu Ba Chua Xu in An Giang, Vietnam is by car. You can either book a driver from Ho Chi Minh City or rent a car and drive yourself. From Ho Chi Minh City, take the National Highway 1A to Tra Vinh and then head west onto the Gia Rai-Chau Doc-Long Xuyen Expressway. Follow the expressway to Long Xuyen, then take the provincial road 381 to Chau Doc. You can then follow Provincial Road 902 east until you reach Mieu Ba Chua Xu.
