History:

The Mochima National Park is located in the Venezuelan state of Sucre. The park was established in 1974 and covers an area of approximately 1,430 square kilometres of Caribbean coast. It is home to a variety of plant and animal species, including mammals such as dolphins, green sea turtles and manatees, as well as rare species of birds, fish, crustaceans and plants.
