Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan is an ancient Buddhist temple complex on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya River in Samut Prakan province, Thailand. The temple's central prang ("tower" or "pagoda") is a dominant feature of the temple complex, rising to a height of almost 80 m. Wat Arun is one of Thailand's most popular and recognizable landmarks, and it features in many artworks and postcards.
