Riverlife – Bern International Evangelical Church in Switzerland is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual and multi-generational church that is a member of the International Baptist Convention (IBC). The church was founded in 2002 and has grown to include more than 400 members and several thousand people that are connected to the church. The church is based on a traditional and reformed theology and is committed to seeing the gospel message of Jesus Christ proclaimed to those living in Bern and beyond. Riverlife has a strong focus on community and providing compassion, care and friendship to those who are in need. The church offers a variety of ministries and services such as worship services, prayer meetings, Sunday school, and counseling for individuals, young adults and families. Additionally, Riverlife has a mentorship and outreach program and is actively engaged with outreach activities to immigrants, asylum seekers and individuals from a variety of countries and cultures.
