Grossmünster is an ancient Romanesque-style church located in the heart of Zurich, Switzerland. The church is renowned for its large windows and its two towers, which bookend the entrance. According to the legend, Charlemagne was the one who had the church built near the end of the 9th century. Grossmünster is where reformers Huldrych Zwingli and Felix Manz held their sermons, giving it a central role in the Protestant Reformation in Zurich.
