Masjid al-Wahat is located in the historic city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The mosque complex was built between 1991 and 1994 with a production engineering company, IDEALAB. It is one of the most visited mosques in Jeddah, given its proximity to some of the city’s most important trade centers, and also due to its elaborate architectural design and intricate decorations. The mosque is composed of two main buildings and a number of smaller ones. The main structure, called the minaret, consists of four towers that are almost identical in size, shape and design. The structure has a height of 72 meters and is built of red sandstone. The four-towered minaret is decorated with mosaics, stucco and calligraphic inscriptions. The second part of the mosque is located at the heart of the complex and includes two large courtyards and a huge praying hall. The hall has a central dome with a height of 50 meters and is illuminated from the inside by giant reflectors, notably during night prayer times. The horseshoe-shaped internal walls are decorated with intricate mosaics, the floor is made of marble, and the ceiling is adorned with wood carvings. The minaret also features a library and a university campus, both housing a variety of educational materials. The grounds of the mosque complex include a number of other buildings, including several stores and other amenities. Visiting Hours:

Masjid al-Wahat in Jeddah is open to visitors daily from sunrise to sunset. There is no specific visiting time, but people are asked to respect prayer times.
