Brief History:
is located on Sultan Qaboos Street in Al Amerat, and was established in 1988. The mosque is one of the first mosques built in the Governorate of Al Amarat, and is an important landmark for the local community. The building features a large central prayer hall, a minaret, two courtyards, and a library. The mosque is renowned for its spiritual and inspirational environment, and is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.
Architecture:
The architecture of the Al Wizarat West North Mosque in Oman is in the traditional Omani style. The building is made out of clay blocks that boundary the four exteriors. It also includes four tall minarets, which give it an unmistakable look. The interior of the mosque is laid out in two courtyards, both connected by four arches which join them together. The inner courtyard of the mosque is where the main prayer hall is located. The dome spans over the prayer hall and is intricately decorated. The mosque's ceiling is beautifully painted and adorned with colorful tiles. Other features of the mosque include granite floors, sandstone walls, decorated doors, and wooden furniture. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
The visiting hours of Al Wizarat West North Mosque in Oman are 5am to 12pm daily. It is closed on Fridays and Eid days. best mosque in the world.

Address: Al Wizarat West North Mosque, Al Hadaba Street, Muscat, Oman Travel By Car The Al Wizarat West North Mosque is located 40 km from Muscat International Airport and is reachable by car via Al Wakrah Street in 30 minutes. Travel By Public Transportation Visitors can take public bus from the airport to Al Shati bus stop at Ruwi (which is 15 km from the airport). From here they can take a taxi to the Al Wizarat West North Mosque, which is another 2.3 km away. Travel By Train There is no direct connection between the mosque and the airport via train. Visitor may need to take a train from the airport to another station near the mosque. The closest train station to Al Wizarat West North Mosque is Al Muzn Station which is about 6.6 km away. Visitors can take a taxi to reach the mosque from there. beautiful masjid.
