is a famous mosque in Wilayat of Barka in North Al Batinah region, Oman. It was built during the late 19th century by Sayyid Sultan bin Ahmad bin Said Al Qarni, a tribe leader who wanted to commemorate the memory of his father. The mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Oman and is well known for its unique architecture and grandeur. It is also referred to by the locals as the Mosque of the Great Leader. The mosque houses a beautiful structure of tall marble pillars, exquisite wood carvings and ornate tile patterns which give it an exquisite look and feel. The Al Qarn West South Central North East Mosque In Oman is believed to date back to the 11th century and is an example of Muslim architecture. The mosque consists of a prayer hall, a courtyard, and four minarets. The most prominent feature of the mosque is its four main minarets, each one measuring 12.5 meters tall and decorated with blue and gold mosaic tile. The interior of the mosque is also adorned with intricate Islamic calligraphy. The courtyard is shaded by a number of palm trees and has a small fountain at its center. The regular visiting hours for the Al Qarn West South Central North East Mosque in Oman are from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday through Thursday.
