Al Khonji Mosque is a historic mosque located in the seaside town of Duqm in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate of Oman. It dates back to the late 18th century and is considered one of the oldest mosques in Oman. The mosque is named after the family of the eponymous Governor of the town, Muhammad bin Ali Al Khonji. The mosque has a square plan and was constructed in the architectural style that was commonplace in the region at the time, with a prayer hall and four minarets. The mosque has numerous decorative features, including carved stonework and intricate stained-glass windows in the prayer hall. Historically, Al Khonji Mosque served as a focal point for religious and social gatherings in the town, and is still in use to this day.
