The Mosque was inaugurated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos in [2005] and has since served as a place of worship for individuals of all ages. The mosque has a capacity of 500 people and has a spacious main prayer hall with a large central dome and four spinning domes. The Mosque also features two Minarets and a clock tower. The interior walls and ceiling of the mosque are decorated with royal Islamic motifs and Quranic verses. The Mosque also features a multi-purpose hall, ample parking, a library, and cafeteria. Architecture:

The architecture of the Al Salamah East Central Mosque in Oman is characterized by its geometric and symmetrical shape, its traditional Islamic arches and its large dome.
