Al Awabi East South West Mosque is located in the small village of Al Awabi in the Sultanate of Oman. The mosque is constructed in the traditional Omani style, which is based upon an adaptation of Islamic architecture. The structure consists of a large interior prayer hall which is surrounded by a courtyard and two smaller prayer chambers. The interior of the prayer hall is enclosed by a dome-shaped roof, and the whole structure is supported by four strong columns. The entrance to the mosque is marked by two large arches which are fronted by an outdoor frame of wooden window screens. The inner walls of the mosque have intricate Islamic motifs and the interior is adorned with colorful Islamic designs, including ornate floral tiles and mosaics within the prayer hall dome.
