The Al Khoudh North Central East South Mosque was constructed in the town of Khoudh in the Muscat Governorate of Oman in 2009. The mosque, which was designed by Engineering consultants International (ECI), was built on a piece of land owned by the state-run Oman Oil Company. The mosque has four main prayer halls, each accommodating up to 300 worshippers, and four small prayer halls accommodating up to 200 worshippers. The mosque also has a library, conference hall, and other facilities. The mosque is managed and maintained by the Al Khoudh Charitable Society, which is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of the mosque. The society also organizes educational and charitable activities such as organizing lectures by prominent Islamic scholars and distributing copies of the Qur'an to the needy. Architecture:

The Al Khoudh North Central East South Mosque is located in the city of Al Khoudh in Oman. The mosque was designed by the renowned Omani architect Hammood Sultan and is built in a contemporary style influenced by traditional Omani architecture. The mosque is made up of four rectangular-shaped prayer halls connected by a central dome which is the tallest in Oman. The walls of the prayer halls are made from local limestone and feature ornate stonework and intricate wood carvings. The congregational spaces are designed in a traditional courtyard style and feature hand-painted ceramic tiles. The interior is adorned with beautiful Quranic calligraphy, which is visible through large glass windows. Visiting Hours:

Al Khoudh Mosque is open for visitors daily from 7am to 8pm. The entrance to the mosque is wheelchair accessible and special ramps for those with special needs are also available.
