The Al Jazir Mosque is an iconic 16th-century Islamic temple located in the Sulayat district of Muscat, Oman. The mosque is composed of two large, differently styled prayer halls – a Great Hall and a smaller room known as the 'Mihrab'. The seven mihrabs are distributed along the length of the chamber and each has an intricate wooden ceiling from the 16th century.
