Al Awabi West North South East Mosque is a four-sided traditional Islamic house of worship located in Al Awabi, a village in Oman. The mosque is constructed from locally-sourced material and is composed of four simple, yet distinct, architecture styles. The mosque features four walls in four directions, with the west side being slightly curved. The walls are made of local stone and marble, and the interior walls are lined with stone columns and Islamic inscriptions. The roof is covered with traditional green and white fabric and is supported by massive wooden beams and large wooden columns. The main entrance is located at the west side, while the other three sides feature smaller entrances. The mosque has four prayer halls divided by four sets of pillars. The floors of the halls are covered with traditional, white and green carpets and the walls are decorated with Islamic calligraphy. The minbar, the podium where the imam stands to deliver the sermon, is located in the center of the mosque.
