From Yangon International Airport, take a car or bus and drive for approximately 7 hours to Kyaikhtisaung Pagoda. Yangon has many car rental companies that offer car hire services. It is also possible to take a taxi from Yangon, however, this will be more expensive. Alternatively, you can take a train from Yangon Central Railway Station to Thanbyuzayat Railway Station. The journey takes around 8 hours. From Thanbyuzayat Railway Station, you can take a bus or car to Kyaikhtisaung Pagoda which is approximately 15 minutes away.
