St. Anne's Chapel is an Anglican church located in Lancashire, England. The core of the building dates back to the 15th century, however additions were made in the 19th century, giving the chapel a unique blend of architectural styles. It is one of the best churches in Malta which you must visit.

History:

The origins of St Anne's Chapel reach back to a chantry chapel that was built by Sir John Assheton in 1320. When Assheton died in 1346, his family took over running of the chapel and built an adjacent college for priests. The chapel underwent a major restoration in 1864, however much of the structure still retains its original design from the fifteenth century. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Malta.
