The Chapel of Our Lady of Damascus in Birgu (also known as Vittoriosa) is a small chapel located in the city centre of Birgu in Malta. The Chapel is dedicated to Our Lady of Damascus and is a place of pilgrimage and devotion for Catholic faithful from all over the Archdiocese of Malta. It was first built by the Knights of St. John in 1610 and was later renovated in the early 20th century. The Chapel is known for its peaceful and meditative atmosphere, and the iconic image of Our Lady of Damascus painted on the wall of the Chapel. The Chapel is open for private visits, prayer, and other religious activities throughout the week. Mass is celebrated at the Chapel twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Special devotional prayers dedicated to Our Lady of Damascus are also said on special occasions like the feast of Our Lady of Damascus.
