Kappella ta’ San Rokku (St. Rocco Chapel) is a Catholic chapel located in the village of Żebbuġ, Malta. It is dedicated to St. Rocco, the patron saint of Malta. The chapel was founded in 1652 and is one of the oldest and most historic places of worship in Malta.

History:
Kappella ta’ San Rokku was established in 1652 when Żebbuġ was a small village. The chapel was built to home an image of St. Rocco which was donated by members of a powerful family from Żebbuġ in 1624. In the 19th century, the chapel was greatly enriched with new art and renovations, mostly attributed to parish priest of the time, Rev. Lazzar Mizzi. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Malta.

Kappella ta’ San Rokku is a Grade 1 National Monument in Malta and is listed in the National Inventory of the Cultural Property of the Maltese Islands. It is located within a triangular field which is marked with a cross bearing the inscriptions “XR” - an abbreviation of “In Nomine Domine”, a traditional invocation to God.
