Quseir 'Amra is an eighth-century Islamic castle located in modern-day Jordan. It is a small building, situated on the northeast coast of the Dead Sea in the Jordanian desert. It is thought to have been used by the Umayyad caliph, al-Walid, as a country resort and hunting lodge.

Quseir 'Amra was originally built by the Umayyad Caliph al-Walid in the early 8th century, and is thought to have been used mainly as a hunting lodge. The castle remained intact into the 12th century. In 1884, the British archaeologist, William Matthew Flinders Petrie, removed some of the frescoes from the site and brought them to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston for restoration.
