Narkis Street Congregation is an independent messianic synagogue located in downtown Jerusalem. It was founded in 2007 by its current Rabbi Shmuel Sater and his wife Racheli. The congregation is strongly influenced by the teachings of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, the founder of Jewish-style renewal. The synagogue is based on spiritual continuity and the keeping of traditional Jewish beliefs. The congregation is an inclusive and welcoming place for all, including both Jews and people of other faiths. Services include traditional Friday night services, Shabbat morning and afternoon services, study groups, the celebration of Jewish holidays, concerts, lectures, lectures, and renewal retreats.
