The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) is a Christian pro-Israel organization dedicated to standing with the Jewish people in solidarity and support. The ICEJ was founded in 1980 by an international coalition of Christians who came to Jerusalem to express their solidarity with Israel in the wake of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The Embassy's mission is to bless Israel and work towards reconciliation between Jews and Christians worldwide. Its vision is of a world where Jews and Christians recognize each other’s rightful place and can work together as friends and allies for a better future for all.
ICEJ serves the Jewish people and the nation of Israel through acts of friendship and hospitality, practical assistance, practical support and advocacy for Israel. The Embassy organizes solidarity visits and conferences to Jerusalem, hosts pilgrimages for Christian leaders, partners with Jewish and Christian organizations on numerous causes, and acts a voice for Israel internationally. ICEJ also conducts an extensive program of humanitarian aid in Israel and beyond its borders.
The ICEJ is based in Jerusalem’s historic Old City and has offices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Hungary, Brazil, and South Africa. It is a member of the Global Coalition of Friends of Israel and an NGO observer member of the United Nations.
