This temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandi or Jwalamukhi Mata, who is an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The worship at this temple consists of traditional Hindu rituals. The devotees offer floral garlands, coconuts, fruits and sweets to the deity. They also participate in ‘aarti’ ceremony, wherein they sing devotional hymns and offer lamps with incense sticks to the goddess. Prayers and chants are offered in the Sanskrit language. This is followed by offering of honey and jaggery to the goddess, after which the devotees are given prasad as a blessing.
