Brief History:
The Jameh Mosque of Kerman is an incredible shrine of Persian architecture, located in the city of Kerman in southeastern Iran. The mosque was originally constructed in the 10th century, though much of it was rebuilt in the 19th century after the devastating earthquake of 1786. As one of the few remaining events of the Seljuk era, the mosque is an intricate masterpiece that features a colorful blend of dome-and-minaret-style architecture, marble inlay, calligraphy, and stucco carvings of various geometric and floral designs. The interior courtyard boasts a grand prayer hall with an impressive central dome, as well as a huge bazaar and a turquoise-tiled altar. The mosque also contains several cultural relics, including a copy of the Quran from the 16th century. It is one of the most famous mosque in Iran which you must visit.

The Jameh Mosque of Kerman in Iran is an impressive example of Islamic architecture. Built in the early 12th century, the mosque has a brick and stone exterior with tall mullions and a central dome. Inside, the mosque is decorated with magnificent tile and plasterwork. The large courtyard is framed by iwans, or arcaded open spaces, on four sides, and the prayer hall has exquisite masonry and stained glass detailing. The mosque also features a canopied mehrab, a mihrab, and a minbar in the prayer hall, and an ablutions pool outside. The overall style of the mosque reflects the classical and Seljuk design trends of the mid-12th century. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
