The Tomb North of Alamgir Gate is a 14th-century Mughal burial chamber located just north of the present-day Alamgir Gate in Lahore, Pakistan. The tomb was most likely built by the early Mughal emperor, Akbar, but its exact history and construction date remain a mystery. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The Tomb North of Alamgir Gate is rectangular in shape covered by a white dome. The interiors of the mausoleum have been decorated with stucco and marble. The walls of the chamber are adorned with intricate patterns and carvings of floral motifs and verses of the Qur'an. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
