The Temple of Ichai Ghosh is an ancient temple located in the village of Bagbera in East Singhbhum district, Jharkhand, India. It is dedicated to the Hindu deity Ichai Ghosh and is believed to be built in the 12th century by the Pala dynasty. The temple is a three-tiered structure constructed with red-colored sandstone and is adorned with intricate carvings. The main shrine of the temple houses a 3-foot-tall black granite statue of Ichai Ghosh. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The Temple of Ichai Ghosh features an entrance gate with multi-colored carvings, intricate plastered carvings on the columns and beams, and a sanctum that houses a 3-foot-tall black granite statue of the deity.
