The Tantipara Masjid was originally built by Dewan Qazi Syed Hussain in 1760. It is a three-dome structure made of brick and plastered with lime, which is situated near the Hazra Ghat at the banks of the Bhagirathi River. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.

This Masjid has some unique features. It boasts an impressive architectural quality and has beautiful carvings on its walls. It also has a gigantic prayer hall which can accommodate large numbers of people. The mosque is also adorned with intricate stonework and decorative patterns.
