Shiva Temple Chaturbhuji Temple is located in the village of Bhagur in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is believed to be the presiding deity of prosperity. The Temple complex has three main shrines each dedicated to a different form of Shiva. The Temple is one of the most famous and revered temples in the region and is visited by thousands of devotees each year who come to seek blessings and offer prayers to the deity. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The Shiva Temple Chaturbhuji Temple is known for its grand architecture and is home to a number of shrines dedicated to various forms of Lord Shiva. The main temple houses an impressive 6 feet tall Shiva Lingam and a large Nandi bull. Other shrines in the complex are dedicated to Ganesh, Parvati, and Vishnu. The magnificent temple complex also features a number of beautiful sculptures and carvings, including a sculpture of Ravana lifting Mount Kailash, the abode of Shiva.
