, Shahi Masjid (or Shahi Mosque) is a historic mosque located in the city of Vellore in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Built in 1595 during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim Adil Shah II, Shahi Masjid is one of the oldest surviving Islamic buildings in India and is considered to be of great architectural and historical importance. The mosque is made up of two storeys with a large central dome and four small corner domes. Its exterior is decorated with Islamic calligraphy and intricate stucco work. The interior has been recently renovated and the mosque is open to visitors. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

The Shahi Masjid in Vellore, India, is a 16th-century mosque designed in the ornate Indo-Saracenic style. The mosque was built by Firuz Shah Tughlak, the Sultan of Delhi, in 1377. The building is square in plan, with a large central courtyard surrounded by a portico and four arcaded wings. Its elegant sandstone arches, decorated with intricate stone carvings, lead to a domed central structure. The mosque is also home to a variety of other historic structures such as minarets, turrets, and the unique tombs of Firuz Shah and his family members. The mosque is an important example of Indo-Islamic architecture and stands as a testament to the rich history of Vellore. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
