Overview:
The Mangaladevi Temple is a historical Hindu temple located in Mangalore, India. It is dedicated to the goddess Mangaladevi, the Hindu god of war and victory. The temple was built by Kundavarman, the first king of Mangalore, in 1068. It is a symbol of the rich cultural heritage of Mangalore. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The temple is built in traditional Karnataka architecture and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It also has a chariot, used in the annual festivals and fairs which attract millions of devotees from all over the world.
