Overview:
nar-Norangabad is a historic monument located in the state of Haryana, India. It was built by Sultan Alauddin Khilji(1296–1316) of the Delhi Sultanate as a victory tower to commemorate his victory over Norangabad in 1303. The tower has been treated as a unique historical site and is considered significant in terms of its architectural value. Kos Minar-Norangabad This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Kos Minar-Norangabad is hexagonal in shape and stands at a height of about 22 m. It is made of stone and mortar bricks and is divided into two stories.The entrance to the first floor is a pointed arch, while the entrance to the second floor is ornamented with exquisite designs.
