inar, vill. Toot is a historical landmark situated in the district of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh. It was built in 1223 CE by the Sultan Allaudin Khilji as a watchtower. It is also known as the Tile Minar as it was originally made of tiles. This monument is 30 feet high, and it is one of the major attractions of the region. It has an octagonal base, and the top is domed. This watchtower is believed to have served as a guiding point for armies to nearby towns.
