Kati Ghati is a pass situated in the Pir Panjal ranges of the Lower Himalayas in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies between the Kashmir Valley and the Valley of Jammu, connecting them. This pass boasts of its incredible views of the Pir Panjal Mountain Range along with its cascading tributary of the Chanderbani River, Koolkin Glacier. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.

Kati Ghati holds incredible views of the Pir Panjal Mountain Range along with the cascading Koolkin Glacier. It also houses the highest peak in this region, Maharonti, which stands at an elevation of 10,685 feet. Kati Ghati is believed to be the passage utilized by Mughal emperor, Akbar. During the reign of Jammu and Kashmir's ruler Maharaja Gulab Singh, the British army passed through this pass to take control of the region of Jammu. This mountain pass is even believed to be used by the Pandavas in the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata.
