Overview:
asjid is a Hindu temple site in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India and one of the most prominent religious sites for the country's Muslim population. History:
The mosque covers an area of 23,490 square meters, making it one of the largest mosques in India. The mosque consists of a large rectangular courtyard, with a central rectangular pond, which is bordered by a number of pavilions and pavilions on four sides. At the center of the courtyard is a large marble domed pavilion which houses the mihrap. The inner walls of the mosque are decorated with beautiful calligraphy and the exterior walls feature distinctive architectural elements such as multiple pinnacles and four tall minarets.
