It is located near the historic city of Nampally, Hyderabad and was built during the rule of the Nizam of Hyderabad, a ruler of the erstwhile state of Hyderabad. History:

Juma Masjid comprises of two sprawling courtyards, a large main hall, a number of subsidiary rooms, several small pavilions, a well-stocked library, several newly constructed fountains, an open air veranda, and an assembly hall. The main hall is circular in shape, which is fairly uncommon in a mosque. It also houses a large number of pillars, an inscribed marble slab, and several other features.
