Overview:
Khana: Jilau Khana is a type of gate from Mughal architecture. It is also known as the Victory Gate, it is rectangular in shape with a pointed arched entrance leading to the interior of a fort or city. The gate stands atop a tall foundation and is built with thick walls of red sandstone for protection. Its exterior is decorated with geometric ornaments, garden designing, wall-painting, and intricate calligraphy. The interior of Jilau Khana is decorated with intricate carvings and artworks. History:
The gate stands atop a tall foundation and is built with thick walls of red sandstone for protection.
