Tomb of Amir Ali at vill. Dera Meer Mian is an ancient Mughal monument located in district Kasur, Punjab, Pakistan. It is one of the most renowned monuments of the Mughal era, constructed in the honor of the renowned Sufi saint Amir Ali Shah Gilani. It is believed that the tomb was constructed in 1615 by Mughal Emperor Jahangir. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The main structure of the tomb is made of bricks and is built in a square shape, with four doorways in each of the four walls. The walls of the Tomb are decorated with tile work, with Mihrab in the center of the east wall. The main chamber of the tomb is made of marble and is topped with an intricately carved dome.
