Brief History:
Jama Masjid, Ranchi is a mosque located on the banks of the Subarnarekha River in the capital city of the Indian state of Jharkhand. The mosque was built in 1898 by the then British Deputy Commissioner, C.D. Bemrose, and later in 1902, it was expanded with the efforts of local philanthropist, Raja Chhotey Singh. Jama Masjid remains an important religious site for local Muslims, and is visited by devotees from far and wide. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

The Jama Masjid of Ranchi is a large mosque built in the Indo-Saracenic style. It was constructed in 1989 and is located in the city of Ranchi in Jharkhand, India. The mosque is characterized by its domed shape and four protruding minarets. The interior of the mosque is decorated with intricate artwork and calligraphy. The walls are adorned with colorful ornate designs and arches. The entrance to the building has an embellished double-door entrance with a central arch topped by a rounded dome. The roof is also adorned with intricate designs and is topped with a large golden dome, making it a symbol of Ranchi’s religious history and culture.
