The main features incorporated into the structure include an arched gateway, a courtyard, a pond, many domes, and a large prayer hall. The gateway of the Dargah is adorned with colorful tiles, which is typical of Islamic architecture. Inside the courtyard, there is a raised marble platform where the shrine of the Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Waliullah is located. The marble platform is surrounded by several large and intricate domes, which is a common element of Mughal architecture.
