It houses the tomb of Sayyed Pasha Quadri, a celebrated Sufi saint from Iraq who came to India during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar (1556-1605). He made the city his home and is said to have been revered by the locals. The shrine is constructed in traditional Mughal style and has a four-domed mosque within its premises.
