David Yale and Joseph Hynmer's Tomb is a resting place located in the city of Chennai, India. It is a memorial to two English officers of the East India Company who are believed to have died in nearby Guindy in 1787. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The David Yale and Joseph Hynmer's Tomb is made of marble and is a domed structure with a plinth at its base. It is enclosed by railings with a sandstone gate and some steps. The tomb also features carved columns, and on the front plinth there is a Latin inscription honoring the two men. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
