Brief History:

The Dargah of Hazrat Sayyed Karimuddin Sahib is located in Nizamabad, India. The shrine was established in memory of a Sufi saint, Sayyed Karimuddin, who is believed to have come to India during Aurangzeb's rule from Central Asia. The shrine has since become a revered pilgrimage site for Muslims and devotees from all over India. The shrine is visited by thousands of devotees from all walks of life, irrespective of their caste, creed, or religion, in search of spiritual solace. The shrine is also known as "Hazrat Karimuddin Sahib Ke Dargah". The shrine is managed by a trust that looks after the upkeep, maintenance, and other activities related to the shrine. It is one of the most famous mosque in India which you must visit.

Architecture:

The architecture of Dargah Hazrat Sayyed Karimuddin Sahib is a blend of both Islamic and Indian styles. The dargah consists of a central courtyard surrounded by a pillared hall and a dome. The entrance of the courtyard is marked by a grandiose and intricately carved wooden gate. To the left of the entrance, there is a series of arches and two minarets. Inside the courtyard, there are several shrines, including a tomb dedicated to Hazrat Sayyed Karimuddin Sahib. Other tombs of the Sayyed family are present in the courtyard, along with several tombs of other saints. The architecture of the dargah is further adorned by intricate stone carvings that decorate the walls. The atmosphere of the dargah is further enhanced by its lush gardens and fountains. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

The airport is well connected with the major cities within and outside India. By Rail: Nizamabad Railway Station is the closest railway station to the Dargah Hazrat Sayyed Karimuddin Sahib. It is located a few kilometers away from the core city area. Trains from major cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Amritsar, and Mysore can be boarded here. By Road: Nizamabad is well connected to cities like Hyderabad (163 km), Medak (101 km), Warangal (68 km), Karimnagar (50 km), Kurnool (316 km), and Beed (283 km). Buses from these cities ply regularly with reasonable fares and come to the City Bus Station in the core Nizamabad city area.
